Below is a link to a sample "press release".  Press releases are great to send to your local newspapers, radio stations o television stations.  It gives a very brief biography of the group, and will give the reading audience all of the details of the scheduled concert/event.  Best of all, most newspapers will print a press release ABSOLUTELY FREE!
